New Year, new resolution. Most common…Diet. Very feminine, but not always.

Should we give up dieting when we meet friends? Or should we lock ourselves in our castles and not allow no one to enter?

Nothing could be further from the truth!!

When we socialize during such a very rough time we should follow some simple rules:

1. Control yourself while drinking alcohol. Give up beer, sweet long drinks and vodka in favour of dry wine. Remember that on every glass of wine we should take 2 ( or at least 1) glass of water.

2. Never go to a party without eating dinner. If you are hungry, you eat twice as much as you need!

3. Eat wisely! Choose salads ( without mayonnaise).  Do not drink while eating!

4. Do not ever eat chips or crisps! When you take one, it’ll be impossible to resist the rest.

Now very clever, healthy and diet snack 🙂

Steam cooked vegetables with garlic sauce.

Choose your favourite vegetables ( carrot, parsnip, cauliflower, cabbage turnip, or any other) season water with salt pepper, garlic pinch of sugar teaspoon of vinegar ( grape or wine).

Steam your vegetables for about 10-15 minutes and take out on a plate.

Garlic sauce:

2 cloves of garlic

pinch of salt, sugar and pepper

hive

small onion

powdered sweet pepper

1/2 teaspoon wine vinegar

cup of Greek youghurt

mix everything thoroughly.

Serve on small plates with little bowls for your dip
